Job Summary:
The Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons in Mathematics and Biology. The teacher helps students develop strong analytical, problem-solving, and scientific skills while maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective lessons in Mathematics and Biology according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Explain concepts using interactive and student-centered teaching methods.
- Evaluate students' academic performance through tests, quizzes, projects, and class participation.
- Provide additional support and guidance to students who need academic assistance.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
- Encourage critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and problem-solving skills.
- Manage classroom discipline and create a safe, respectful learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' progress and behavior.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school activities.
- Ensure laboratory safety procedures are followed during Biology practical sessions (if applicable).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Biology, Education, or a related field..
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Biology.
- Previous teaching experience is an advantage.
