- Assist in the assessment, stabilization, and treatment of emergency and trauma patients.
- Perform Basic Life Support (BLS) and assist in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) procedures.
- Prepare and maintain emergency equipment such as defibrillators, suction machines, ventilators, monitors, and oxygen delivery systems.
- Assist physicians during emergency procedures including intubation, CPR, wound management, fracture stabilization, and trauma care.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and promptly report abnormalities.
- Assist in patient transportation within the hospital while ensuring patient safety.
- Prepare emergency treatment rooms and trauma bays for incoming patients.
- Maintain adequate stock of emergency drugs, consumables, and medical supplies.
- Ensure infection prevention and control practices are followed in all emergency procedures.
- Document patient care activities accurately and maintain confidentiality of medical records.
- Respond promptly to Code Blue and other hospital emergency calls.
- Assist in disaster management, mass casualty incidents, and emergency preparedness drills.
- Ensure proper biomedical waste segregation and disposal according to hospital policies.
- Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and calibration checks of emergency equipment.
