Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Creative Instruction: Conduct structured, engaging lessons covering basic to advanced art techniques, including sketching, painting (water, oil, acrylic), shading, and still-life drawing.
- Craft & Recycled Art: Teach diverse craft forms such as origami, clay modeling, pottery, paper-mâché, and creative "best out of waste" upcycling projects.
- Exhibition & Display: Conceptualize and design backdrops, props, and thematic stage decors for major institutional events like the Annual Day, Independence Day, and cultural fests.
- Competition Mentorship: Identify artistic talent within the school, curate student portfolios, and rigorously train students for inter-school, district, state, and national art competitions.
- Campus Aesthetics: Organize annual school art exhibitions and systematically display high-quality student artwork on campus bulletin boards and gallery walls.
- Studio & Material Management: Oversee the school art room, tracking resource inventories, ordering quality supplies, and maintaining a clean, safe, and inspiring workspace.
Required Qualifications & Eligibility (As per CBSE Norms)
- Education: Graduate / Post Graduate degree in Fine Arts (B.F.A. / M.F.A.) or Visual Arts from a recognized university.
- Alternative Certification: Graduate with a recognized Diploma in Art and Craft / Drawing and Painting (minimum 2 years full-time course).
- Experience: Prior experience teaching art and craft in a reputed school or creative academy is highly preferred.
- Key Skills: Mastery over diverse painting mediums, strong patience with young learners, innovative lesson design, and good communication skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
