Factory Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Factory Supervisor to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations at our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the production of modular furniture, metal fabrication, and cushioning/upholstery work.
- Ensure high standards of quality, productivity, and timely completion of manufacturing activities.
- Coordinate effectively with designers, production teams, vendors, and site personnel.
- Manage factory labour, assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and maintain discipline on the shop floor.
- Source and recruit skilled workers and labour for the factory whenever required to meet production demands.
- Handle client interactions professionally during factory visits and provide updates on production progress.
- Monitor material usage, workflow, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve production issues to ensure smooth factory operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience as a Factory Supervisor or in a similar role.
- Thorough knowledge of modular furniture manufacturing, metal fabrication, and cushioning/upholstery processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively manage both clients and labour teams.
- Proven capability to source and coordinate skilled workers and factory labour when needed.
- Experience in the interior design, furniture manufacturing, or allied industry will be preferred.
Job Type: Regular / Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
