- Responsible for overall mechanical engineering, site execution, installation, testing and commissioning activities for infrastructure construction projects.
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, BOQ, specifications and project requirements.
- Supervise installation of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing/mechanical systems, pumps, equipment and associated utilities, as applicable to the project.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, MEP, consultants, contractors and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor quality, progress, safety and workmanship as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Prepare and review method statements, inspection requests, checklists, material approvals and technical reports.
- Ensure timely completion of mechanical works as per the project schedule and milestones.
- Manage contractors/subcontractors and monitor manpower, materials and equipment at site.
- Conduct inspections, identify technical issues and coordinate for snagging, rectification and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IS codes, project specifications, safety standards and statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation, as-built drawings, testing reports and handover records.
Key Requirements:
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory.
- 9–12 years of relevant experience in infrastructure / construction projects.
- Strong experience in site execution and mechanical works.
- Experience in handling contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
- Good knowledge of mechanical installation, testing & commissioning, QA/QC and project coordination.
- Candidates with large-scale infrastructure/government construction project experience will be preferred.
Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
