Summary
UST is looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Automation Testing, API Testing, Manual Testing, SQL, and Regression Testing. The ideal candidate will have experience in the US Healthcare/Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) domain and will play a key role in validating pharmacy benefit implementations, clinical functionalities, and enterprise healthcare applications. This role involves designing and executing automation frameworks, validating business requirements, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
The Opportunity
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Cucumber for Java/.NET-based applications.
- Participate throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring quality at every stage.
- Prepare test plans, test strategies, and other testing documentation.
- Perform Automation Testing, API Testing, Manual Testing, Regression Testing, and Functional Testing.
- Develop, review, and maintain test cases, test data, and test environments.
- Execute test cases, log defects, perform defect re-testing, and conduct regression testing.
- Review testing artifacts and support test closure activities to ensure quality exit criteria are met.
- Validate business requirements, PBM benefit configurations, and clinical rule implementations.
- Analyze and troubleshoot defects, application issues, and system discrepancies.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA team members to ensure successful delivery.
- Contribute to automation framework enhancements and continuous process improvements.
- Support audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and production validation activities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote testing best practices across the team.
- Support performance testing initiatives when required.
- Be flexible to support extended work hours or weekend deployments based on project needs.
What You Need
- Strong hands-on experience in Selenium Automation Testing.
- Experience with Cucumber (BDD) framework.
- Strong knowledge of API Testing using RESTful services.
- Experience in Manual Testing, Functional Testing, and Regression Testing.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.
- Experience creating Test Plans, Test Strategies, Test Cases, Test Data, and Defect Reports.
- Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and defect management skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in the US Healthcare and Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) domain.
- Knowledge of Pharmacy Claims validation and adjudication processes.
- Experience supporting Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid healthcare applications.
- Familiarity with Performance Testing tools and methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
- Knowledge of CMS regulations, Medicaid compliance, and payer guidelines.
- Experience in business requirement analysis and translating requirements into functional test scenarios.
- Exposure to automation frameworks for Java/.NET applications.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience with PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) software is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Pharmacy Claims Audit is highly desirable.
- Experience working in Agile environments is preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong experience in US Healthcare and PBM (Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid) domains.
- Experience in Pharmacy Claims validation, adjudication, and benefit testing.
