Strategy Lead - Clinic Vertical
About Gleuhr
Gleuhr sells skincare on one side and runs skin clinics across India on the other. Both sides run on one engine: performance ads on Meta, every day, at scale. We're not a brand that shoots four ads a quarter and hopes. We ship hundreds of scripts a month, test everything, and let the numbers tell us who's right.
The clinic side is its own world - real treatments, real patients, real bookings on the line. Someone has to own it end to end. That's this role.
About the Role
You are the primary owner of the clinic vertical's performance marketing. The full stack - strategy, positioning, creative direction, budget, and the numbers - is yours.
You decide which treatments we push and how we position them. You define the story behind every treatment, and every script and creative flows from that story. You approve what goes live
- nothing runs on the clinic side without your sign-off. You read the data every week and decide what scales, what pauses, and what dies. And you lead the creative team that turns your strategy into ads.
This is a senior seat with real rope. You report to the Head of Marketing, but inside the clinic vertical, the buck stops with you. When the vertical wins, it's your win. When it stalls, it's your problem to solve.
You need to be strong in three places at once: strategy (what we do and why), positioning (how we make a treatment matter to the right person), and creative (whether the ad is actually good enough to work). Most marketers are strong in one. This role needs all three, deeply.
What You'll Own
● Clinic vertical strategy - which treatments to push, how to split the budget, what to test next, and the plan that ties it all together. You set the direction.
● Positioning & the Treatment Story - for every treatment, you define who it's for, the promise, and the proof. This is the source document every script and creative is built on.
● Creative direction & final approval - you brief the story, and you approve every script and static before it goes live. You are the taste and the bar. Weak creative doesn't get out the door.
● Performance and the numbers - you own the clinic vertical's results: cost per lead, cost per booking, ROAS, lead quality, and volume. You read the data weekly and act on it.
● Budget - you own the clinic ad budget and its efficiency. Every rupee is yours to spend well.
● Leading the creative team - the Senior Scriptwriter (and the associate under her) work to your direction. You brief them, approve their output, and raise the bar of what they produce.
● Closing the loop with clinic operations - a cheap lead that never books is worthless. You work with the clinic and appointment teams to make sure marketing drives real, qualified bookings that actually show up.
● A constant test-and-learn engine - new angles, new formats, new audiences, every cycle. You never let the vertical go stale.
Must-Haves
● 6+ years in performance marketing, with real ownership of a brand's or vertical's paid performance - not just running ads, but owning the outcomes
● Deep creative sense. You can look at a script or a concept and know whether it'll work, and give notes that make it better. You've shaped creative, not just signed off on it.
● Deep positioning and strategy chops. You can take a treatment and find the angle that makes the right person want it. You think in who / promise / proof, not features.
● Strong grasp of Meta performance marketing - funnels, testing structure, budget allocation, and reading data and acting on it fast (CPL, cost per booking, ROAS, hook rate, and the rest)
● Lead-gen fluency. You understand that in a service business the win isn't a sale in a cart - it's a qualified booking that shows up at the clinic. You optimize for that, not vanity leads.
● Ability to judge creative in Hindi and Hinglish, not just English - you're approving scripts in all three
● Leadership. You've led or mentored creative or marketing people and made their work better.
● Decisiveness with data. You scale winners and kill losers fast, without your ego getting in the way.
● Comfort working across teams - media buying, production, and clinic operations all sit next to you
Nice-to-Haves
● Beauty, skincare, wellness, health, or aesthetics/clinic category experience
● Experience across both product (e-commerce) and service (lead-gen) marketing
● Experience marketing across multiple locations or regions
● Hands-on media buying background (even if you'll direct rather than execute)
How We'll Measure YouIn your first 7 days
● Get access to everything: ad accounts, performance dashboards, content pipeline, shared folders
● Meet your team (Senior Scriptwriter, associate, Content Creator, Editing Lead), the ad operations lead, and the clinic operations and appointment teams
● Read every top-performing clinic ad we've run and understand the vertical's economics - what a lead costs, what a booking costs, what a good month looks like
● Review the current positioning and treatment portfolio so you know what you're inheriting
In your first 30 days
● Own the clinic vertical plan - what we're pushing, how the budget splits, and what we're testing
● Have a clear Treatment Story and positioning for the priority treatments
● Be approving all clinic creative, with a live testing roadmap running
● Demonstrate you understand the unit economics end to end - from ad spend to lead to booking to show-up
Ongoing
● Clinic vertical performance - ROAS, cost per booking, and qualified lead volume. Measured monthly, tied to your incentive.
● Lead quality and booking conversion - not just cheap leads, but leads that turn into shown appointments
● Creative win rate - the share of your team's creative that actually performs
● Budget efficiency - more bookings per rupee, month over month
● Team output - the creative team under you gets sharper because of your direction
Who You'll Work With
● Head of Marketing - your direct manager. He sets the overall direction; you own the clinic vertical within it and run it with real autonomy.
● Senior Scriptwriter (and associate) - your creative team. You brief them, approve their scripts, and level up their work. They translate your strategy into ads.
● Ad Operations Lead - runs the campaigns in the ad account. You set the strategy and the budget; they execute. You two live in the numbers together.
● Content Creator/Producer & Editing Lead - the production engine. Your approved scripts become real shoots and edits through them.
● Clinic Operations & Appointment team - the people who receive and convert your leads. You close the loop with them constantly, because your job isn't done at the lead - it's done at the booking.
What We Offer
● Full ownership of a vertical. This is your strategy, your creative, your budget, your team, and your numbers. Few roles give you this much rope this directly.
● A performance-linked incentive tied to the clinic vertical's results, on top of base salary. When the vertical wins, you win - meaningfully.
● A real engine under you. A creative team, a production pipeline, and ad operations already in place. You direct a machine; you don't build one from scratch.
● A strategic seat with a direct line to the Head of Marketing. Your calls shape the business, not just a campaign.
● Data you can act on. You'll know within weeks whether a bet worked. No guessing, no "we'll never know."
