Job Purpose
To provide warm, courteous, and efficient service to guests throughout their stay while ensuring smooth front office operations. The Front Office Associate is responsible for guest check-in and check-out, handling guest requests, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests in a warm, courteous, and professional manner.
- Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Verify guest details, identification, reservations, and payment information.
- Allocate rooms and provide guests with relevant information about hotel facilities and services.
- Handle guest requests, queries, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping regarding room status, room readiness, and guest requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, transactions, and room status in the hotel system.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions as per company procedures.
- Prepare and maintain shift reports, registration records, and other required documentation.
- Assist guests with information regarding local attractions, transportation, dining, and hotel services.
- Handle telephone calls, messages, and guest correspondence professionally.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely resolution of guest requests and complaints.
- Follow up on guest feedback and escalate issues to the Front Office Manager or Duty Manager when required.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of guest information.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
- Promote hotel facilities, services, and applicable offers to guests.
- Assist in handling VIP guests and special requests as assigned.
- Ensure proper handover of pending tasks and important information during shift changes.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Front Office Manager or Management.
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum qualification: Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent.
- Previous experience in Front Office or Guest Relations in a hotel is preferred.
- Freshers with good communication skills and a positive attitude may also be considered.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
