We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong background in Education ERP Sales. The ideal candidate should have experience selling ERP or SaaS solutions to schools, colleges, and universities. The candidate must have a good network and strong relationships with decision-makers in educational institutions and should be willing to travel extensively for client meetings and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities for Education ERP solutions.
- Meet Principals, Directors, Trustees, Registrars, Vice Chancellors, and other decision-makers in schools, colleges, and universities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions.
- Give product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Coordinate with the implementation and support teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding.
- Keep track of market trends and competitor activities in the Education ERP industry.
- Travel regularly to meet clients and expand business across assigned regions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–9 years of experience in ERP Sales, SaaS Sales, or IT Software Sales.
- Mandatory experience in selling Education ERP solutions.
- Good connections with schools, colleges, universities, and educational groups.
- Strong understanding of educational institutions and their administrative processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and business development.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in selling Campus ERP, School ERP, College ERP, University ERP, Student Information System (SIS), or related EdTech solutions.
- Proven track record of closing high-value institutional sales.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and passionate about business development.
