A Food Packer is responsible for packaging food products for shipment, delivery, or sale, ensuring that all items meet quality and safety standards. Their duties typically include assembling packaging materials, placing food items into containers, sealing and labelling packages, weighing products, and organizing them for efficient distribution. They also inspect food items for quality, discard damaged or expired goods, maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, and may assist with inventory tracking and communication with team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Pack food items such as pre-made meals, Snacks and beverages.
Assemble and seal containers or boxes for shipment.
Weigh, label, and mark packages with relevant product information.
Inspect food products for quality and discard any that are damaged or expired.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of packaging areas and equipment.
Organize packaged goods for delivery or storage.
Follow food safety guidelines and company procedures.
Collaborate with team members and possibly delivery personnel.
Record inventory data and complete quality checklists.
Physical tasks include lifting, stacking, and manual packing.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
