Job Profile: Branch Manager

Job Summary
The Branch Manager will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the branch. The role includes overseeing daily operations, achieving business targets, managing staff, ensuring compliance, and promoting financial products offered by the organization. Candidates must have prior experience in a Co-operative Society or NBFC environment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Minimum Degree (any discipline)
- Experience: Above 1 year of relevant experience in a Co-operative Society, NBFC, or similar financial institution
- Preferred Skills: Strong leadership, sales orientation, customer handling, and operational knowledge
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day branch operations and ensure smooth functioning
- Achieve branch targets related to loans, deposits (FD/RD), insurance, and other financial products
- Supervise, guide, and motivate branch staff to improve productivity
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain good customer relationships
- Handle customer grievances and ensure high service quality
- Monitor cash handling, documentation, and record maintenance
- Prepare and submit branch performance reports to the Head Office
- Ensure proper recovery, follow-up, and portfolio quality of loans
- Represent the branch professionally in the local market
