About the Role
We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Textile Designer with strong experience in bed linen and home textiles.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience creating production-ready designs for both rotary and digital printing, with a strong understanding of repeat patterns, colourways, colour separations, and print production requirements.
This role is ideal for someone who can take a design concept from idea → artwork → repeat → sampling → final production.
Key Responsibilities
- Create original prints, patterns and motifs for bed sheets, pillow covers and cushion covers.
- Develop print repeats such as straight, half-drop, brick and other repeat structures.
- Prepare artwork according to rotary and digital printing specifications.
- Create different colourways and colour separations for rotary printing.
- Prepare high-resolution files suitable for digital printing.
- Coordinate with the printing and production teams during strike-offs and pre-production sampling.
- Ensure designs are technically feasible for the selected printing process.
- Maintain and organize the company's design library and archives.
- Submit designs and artwork within agreed timelines as per the product development TNA.
- Stay updated with current home textile, bed linen, colour and print trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in textile design, preferably in bed linen/home textiles.
- Hands-on experience with both rotary and digital textile printing.
- Adobe Illustrator – Mandatory.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, NedGraphics or similar textile CAD software will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of print repeats, colour separation and textile print production.
- Excellent sense of colour, pattern development and design aesthetics.
- Understanding of fabric and printing limitations.
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design or a related field. NIFT/NID or equivalent preferred.
- Must be willing to work from/relocate to Pilkhuwa, Uttar Pradesh.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with a home textile manufacturer or export house.
- Experience specifically in bed sheets, pillow covers, cushion covers or other home textile products.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with design, sampling and production teams.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is not only creative but also understands the technical side of textile printing. The candidate should be able to create commercially viable designs while ensuring that the artwork can actually be executed successfully in production.
