- Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Piping Engineer in Oil & Gas / Industrial / Engineering Design Projects.
- Strong experience in piping layout development, equipment layout, plot plans, piping routing, and 3D modelling.
- Proficient in PD Piping Design and deliverables.
- Proficient in 3D Piping Design and Model Review using AVEVA E3D, SP3D, PDMS, Navisworks.
- Familiar with international codes and standards such as ASME (B31.1 / B31.3 / B31.4 / B31.8), API, and ASTM.
- Experience in Piping Stress Analysis, Line List, BOM, and Isometric Deliverables.
- Ensure jacketed piping design incorporates thermal expansion allowances, steam/heat transfer requirements, condensate drainage, and supportability.
- Conduct model reviews, clash detection, and constructability assessments, resolving clashes with multidisciplinary teams.
- Review nozzle orientations and coordinate equipment interfaces to minimize field modifications and optimize piping configuration.
- Experience in Data Sheet Preparation and supporting engineering standards for piping design activities.
- Experience in reviewing and approving Plot Plans, Equipment Location Plans, Piping General Arrangement Drawings, and Isometric Drawings.
- Extensive background in Piping Material Specifications (PMS), VMS (Valve Material Specification), Material Take-Offs (MTO).
- Evaluating technical bids, reviewing vendor data, and coordinating with Process, Civil, Structural, and Instrumentation teams.
- Experience in coordination with Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Equipment & Instrumentation disciplines.
- Good understanding of P&ID, Process Data, and client specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
