Position: Warehouse Incharge

Job Summary
The Warehouse Incharge is responsible for managing the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, inventory management, and dispatch of goods. The role involves maintaining inventory accuracy, supervising warehouse staff and labour, ensuring compliance with company and food safety standards, and coordinating with internal departments to support smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure warehouse operations are carried out efficiently, safely, and as per company procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper utilization of warehouse space.
2. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Conduct regular stock verification and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper stock rotation using FIFO/FEFO principles.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
3. Goods Receipt & Dispatch
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Ensure accurate documentation for all receipts and dispatches.
- Coordinate timely loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Ensure products are dispatched accurately and on schedule.
4. Team Management & Workforce Supervision
- Assign daily duties and work schedules to warehouse staff and labour.
- Supervise employees to ensure work is completed efficiently and according to company standards.
- Maintain attendance, shift schedules, work hours, and overtime (OT) records.
- Ensure adequate manpower is available to meet operational requirements.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to warehouse staff while maintaining discipline and productivity.
5. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain warehouse records such as Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), stock registers, dispatch records, and inventory reports.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and applicable food safety standards, including GMP, GHP, HACCP, FSSAI, and ISO 22000.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper documentation.
6. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with production, procurement, sales, logistics, and quality teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Communicate inventory status and operational issues to management.
- Support timely order fulfillment and customer requirements.
7. Safety & Security
- Ensure safe handling and storage of materials and finished goods.
- Maintain warehouse safety, security, and housekeeping standards.
- Report and address safety concerns, damages, or operational issues promptly.
8. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and inventory accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in warehouse or stores management, preferably in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
- Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) will be an added advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Good knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good understanding of FIFO, FEFO, and stock control practices.
- Familiarity with food safety and quality standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/WMS software.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
