Job Summary
EzyHelpers, a leading domestic helper placement company in Bangalore, is seeking a Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers seeking household help services. Your primary purpose is to engage with inquiries, understand each customer’s home assistance needs (such as maids, nannies, cooks, etc.), and convert these leads into successful service agreements. By providing excellent guidance and building trust, you will directly impact customer satisfaction and drive the company's growth. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Handle incoming inquiries (phone calls, emails, and website leads) and proactively reach out to potential customers interested in domestic helper services.
- Needs Assessment: Speak with customers in English, Kannada, and Hindi to clearly understand their requirements (e.g., type of helper needed, work schedule, specific duties) and address any questions about our services.
- Service Presentation: Explain EzyHelpers’ range of services and unique value (such as verified helpers, replacement policies, and support). Provide tailored recommendations to customers on suitable helper candidates or service plans based on their needs.
- Sales Conversion: Follow up with interested prospects, schedule and facilitate meetings or calls between customers and suitable helper candidates, and close sales by persuading customers to sign up for our services. This includes negotiating terms and guiding them through the service agreement process.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Ensure a smooth onboarding of the helper into the customer’s household, and check in with clients for feedback or additional needs. Handle any post-sales support in coordination with the operations team (such as replacements or service adjustments) to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance indicators set by the company. Maintain a healthy pipeline of leads and conversions using our CRM system or lead tracking tools, and report on your sales activities and outcomes to the management.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the matchmaking/operations team to understand the availability of helpers and to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled promptly. Collaborate with colleagues in customer service and marketing for generating leads, improving sales scripts, and sharing customer feedback for service improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in sales or tele-sales, preferably in a service-oriented industry. You should have a proven track record of meeting sales targets or converting leads into customers.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, Kannada, and Hindi is mandatory. You must be able to confidently speak and write in all three languages to engage local clients and diverse customer groups.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills. Ability to build rapport quickly over phone or in person, and to address customer questions or concerns in a clear, professional manner.
- Sales Skills: Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities to convince customers and close deals effectively. Should be adept at understanding customer pain points and aligning our services as the solution.
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred (but not mandatory if you have equivalent work experience and skills).
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with computers and experience using CRM software or lead management tools to track inquiries, follow-ups, and sales conversions.
Preferred Skills
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with domestic helper/household services or experience in a similar domain (home services, staffing, or hospitality) will be an advantage, as it helps in understanding client needs better.
- People Skills: Empathy and patience in dealing with customers who may be new to hiring domestic help. An ability to handle objections or concerns with confidence and a positive attitude.
- Organizational Skills: Good time management and organization to juggle multiple inquiries and follow-ups. Being detail-oriented in updating records and scheduling appointments.
- Multitasking: Ability to manage both inbound inquiries and outbound follow-up calls efficiently.
- Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with a small team, share insights, and contribute to a friendly, performance-driven work culture.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive salary with performance-based incentives. You will have a fixed base salary commensurate with your experience, plus attractive incentives or commissions for every successful conversion or when you exceed your sales targets. Additional benefits may include paid time off and other company-specific perks as per our policies. This is a full-time, permanent position, providing you an opportunity to grow with the company.
