Neil Management Solution is hiring an experienced and dynamic Team Leader – Debt Collections to oversee recovery operations for our banking and Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) clients. The ideal candidate will manage a team of collection executives, drive recovery targets, ensure strict regulatory compliance, and maintain high-quality portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management & Performance
- Lead a team of 15–20 tele-callers and field collection executives.
- Allocate daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets to team members.
- Monitor real-time agent productivity, talk time, and recovery rates.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions and performance reviews to improve efficiency.
Operations & Strategy
- Analyze delinquent portfolios (soft bucket to hard bucket) to plan recovery strategies.
- Design strategic calling scripts and negotiation tactics for complex accounts.
- Escalate critical or high-value default cases to upper management.
- Ensure maximum resolution, settlement, and rollback of delinquent accounts.
Compliance & Client Relations
- Enforce strict adherence to RBI guidelines, Fair Practices Code, and banking regulations.
- Zero tolerance for harassment, abusive language, or unethical collection practices.
- Maintain daily and weekly MIS reports to present to bank/NBFC stakeholders.
- Coordinate audit checks to ensure clean documentation and data security.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Graduate in any discipline (Commerce/Business background preferred).
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in retail banking or NBFC debt collection
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of loan products (Personal, Business, LAP, Vehicle, Credit Cards) and bucket movement.
- Communication: Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and multilingual skills (regional language proficiency is a plus).
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and collection CRM software.
