Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science & Engineering.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and assessments as per curriculum requirements.
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and laboratory work.
- Evaluate student performance through examinations, projects, presentations, and assignments.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, and assessment reports.
Research & Publications
- Undertake research activities in relevant areas of Computer Science & Engineering.
- Publish research papers in reputed journals, conferences, and indexed publications.
- Apply for research grants, consultancy projects, and funded research initiatives.
- Guide students in research projects, dissertations, and innovation activities.
Student Mentoring & Development
- Mentor and counsel students on academic and career-related matters.
- Supervise student projects, internships, and industrial training.
- Encourage participation in technical competitions, hackathons, workshops, and conferences.
- Support placement and entrepreneurship initiatives.
Curriculum Development
- Contribute to curriculum design, revision, and outcome-based education practices.
- Develop innovative teaching methodologies and learning resources.
- Integrate emerging technologies and industry trends into course delivery.
Industry & Academic Collaboration
- Build linkages with industry, research organizations, and academic institutions.
- Facilitate internships, industrial visits, guest lectures, and collaborative projects.
- Support accreditation and quality assurance activities such as NBA, NAAC, and NIRF.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Participate in departmental and university committees.
- Assist in admissions, examinations, accreditation, and academic audits.
- Organize seminars, workshops, FDPs, conferences, and outreach activities.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the HOD, Dean, or University Administration.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering or relevant specialization with First Class.
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline (preferred/mandatory as per regulatory norms).
- Qualifications and experience as per AICTE/UGC norms.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, and related technologies.
- Expertise in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, IoT, or Full-Stack Development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in LMS platforms and digital teaching tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in academic and research environments.
