Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager – Sales to lead the institution's admissions and sales operations. The candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing branch sales teams, driving student enrollments, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring sustainable business growth across all branches.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue Management
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve admission and revenue targets.
- Drive student enrollments across all courses and programs offered by the institution.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and ensure target achievement.
- Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and business growth plans.
- Identify new market opportunities and expansion strategies.
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage Sales Heads, Business Development Executives, Telecallers, and Admission Counselors.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve team productivity.
- Set KPIs and monitor individual and branch-level performance.
- Recruit, train, and develop sales professionals.
Admissions & Lead Management
- Oversee the complete admission process from lead generation to enrollment.
- Ensure proper follow-up and conversion of inquiries into admissions.
- Monitor CRM activities and maintain lead management standards.
- Improve conversion ratios through effective sales processes.
Branch Coordination
- Coordinate with Branch Managers and Academic Teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor branch-wise admissions, collections, and student retention.
- Ensure implementation of institutional policies and sales procedures across branches.
Business Development
- Develop partnerships with schools, colleges, hospitals, corporate organizations, and other stakeholders for student referrals.
- Explore new channels for lead generation and admissions growth.
- Support marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
Reporting & Analysis
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and student requirements.
- Present sales performance reports and growth strategies to management.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and revenue generation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in sales, admissions, or business development.
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Experience in the Education, Training, EdTech, Healthcare Education, or Skill Development sector will be preferred.
