Senior Engineer - SW Testing & Validation BESS

Your tasks:
Test specification & test case implementation in automated test software (EXAM) for functions of battery storage system within windfarms
Execution & evaluation and analysis of HiL-tests (Hardware-in-the-Loop)
Commissioning and parametrization of new firmware on the device-under-tests for the HiL-system
Debugging and optimization of parameters of the firmware of the BESS-System and superior controller
Operation of test equipment and test automation infrastructure
Collaboration in agile development teams
Your qualifications:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
Solid understanding of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and their integration into renewable energy systems
Experience with HiL systems (e.g., dSPACE) and automated test environments, especially EXAM
Experience in test specification, test case implementation, and execution of automated HiL tests
Ability to analyze and evaluate test results, including identifying root causes of failures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, especially in interdisciplinary and agile teams
