Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and proactive Office Boy to support the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of our organization. The ideal candidate will assist in academic material management, office maintenance, procurement support, logistics coordination, and general office operations to ensure smooth functioning across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Material Management
- Receive, organize, store, and distribute academic materials and study resources.
- Maintain inventory records of books, study materials, stationery, and office supplies.
- Assist in packing and dispatching academic materials to various centers and departments.
Freight & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate courier, freight, and transportation activities.
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure timely delivery and receipt of materials and documents.
- Maintain records of dispatches and deliveries.
Procurement & Purchase Support
- Assist the procurement team in purchasing office and operational supplies.
- Collect quotations and coordinate with vendors when required.
- Support inventory replenishment and stock management.
- Verify received materials against purchase requirements.
Office Support
- Handle photocopying, scanning, printing, and filing of documents.
- Deliver documents and materials between departments.
- Assist employees with routine administrative tasks.
- Support meeting arrangements, including room setup and refreshments.
Interdepartmental Coordination
- Facilitate communication and coordination between departments.
- Assist in transferring documents, materials, and information as required.
- Support operational requirements across HR, Academics, Sales, Operations, and Administration.
Facility Management
- Ensure office premises are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Monitor housekeeping and maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate minor repair and maintenance activities with service providers.
- Ensure availability of pantry, cleaning, and office essentials.
Inventory & Asset Management
- Maintain records of office assets and supplies.
- Conduct periodic stock checks and report shortages.
- Assist in asset movement and tracking.
Administrative Support
- Assist with banking, courier, and government-related office errands when required.
- Support employee onboarding logistics and office arrangements.
- Maintain confidentiality of company documents and information.
General Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional and helpful attitude.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management from time to time.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum SSLC / Higher Secondary (Plus Two).
- Previous experience in office administration or support roles is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and office procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Valid two-wheeler driving license preferred.
