Project Manager – Interior Construction
Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing interior fit-out projects from project award to final handover. The role involves managing project schedules, budgets, quality, safety, subcontractors, vendors, and client relationships to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to company quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
- Manage end-to-end execution of residential, commercial, retail, or hospitality interior fit-out projects.
- Develop project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, consultants, and clients.
Site Management
- Supervise site engineers and site supervisors.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare and monitor project budgets.
- Track material consumption and labour costs.
- Review contractor bills and vendor invoices.
- Minimize wastage and control project costs.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Evaluate contractor performance and maintain quality standards.
Client Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Conduct progress meetings and provide project updates.
- Manage client expectations and address concerns promptly.
- Ensure successful project handover and client satisfaction.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Maintain project documentation, contracts, and approvals.
- Track RFIs, change orders, variations, and site instructions.
- Maintain project records for audits and future reference.
Quality & Safety
- Ensure all work complies with company quality standards.
- Implement safety procedures and site regulations.
- Conduct quality inspections before project handover.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- PMP certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction project management.
- Experience handling commercial, office, retail, hospitality, or residential interior projects.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
