Key Responsibilities
A. Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)
- Ensure compliance with applicable EHS laws, regulations, and company standards.
- Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) for warehouses, Branch Offices and project
activities.
- Perform regular safety inspections, workplace audits, and behavioural safety observations.
- Monitor fire safety systems, emergency preparedness, and evacuation drills.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, near-misses, and identify corrective actions.
- Ensure proper usage of PPE by employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness training programs.
- Monitor storage and handling of hazardous materials and chemicals.
- Maintain EHS records, permits, licenses, and statutory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with contractor safety requirements and work permit systems.
B. ESG & Sustainability
- Collect and validate ESG data from warehouses, Branch Offices and project sites.
- Maintain records of electricity, diesel, water, waste generation, and recycling data.
- Support ESG reporting and sustainability disclosures.
- Coordinate environmental initiatives such as:
o Energy conservation
o Water conservation
o Waste management
o E-waste management
o Carbon emission reduction
- Monitor ESG compliance requirements and closure status.
- Support ESG audits and assessments.
- Implement sustainability awareness programs for employees.
C. Warehouse Safety Management
- Conduct monthly warehouse safety inspections.
- Ensure safe stacking, material handling, and racking safety.
- Monitor forklift , MHE and others equipment’s safety compliance.
- Verify fire extinguishers, hydrants, emergency exits, and first-aid facilities.
- Ensure housekeeping as per 6S standards.
- Maintain warehouse safety KPI reports.
D. Project Safety Management
- Ensure project sites comply with EHS requirements.
- Monitor safety during construction, installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- Review Method Statements, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Risk Assessments.
- Monitor activities involving:
o Work at Height
o Electrical Work
o Hot Work
o Lifting Operations
- Conduct contractor safety audits and inspections.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in:
o Environmental Engineering
o Safety Engineering
o Industrial Safety
o Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in EHS and ESG functions.
- Experience in warehouses, logistics, manufacturing, or project sites preferred.
- Knowledge of Indian EHS statutory requirements and ESG reporting practices.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per year
