About the Role
Metplast Industries is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. Fresh graduates with a passion for design and product development are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of CAD software and a willingness to learn in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Prepare manufacturing and fabrication drawings.
- Revise and update drawings based on engineering changes.
- Coordinate with the production and other departments to ensure design accuracy.
- Maintain design documentation and drawing records.
- Support product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Good working knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment.
