Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Biomedical Engineer to lead and manage biomedical equipment maintenance and service operations. The candidate should have deep technical expertise, hands-on experience with medical and laboratory equipment, and the ability to guide a team of engineers and technicians effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor the biomedical service team for effective maintenance operations.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of biomedical instruments including analyzers, patient monitors, X-ray machines, dialysis units, and cold chain equipment.
- Ensure calibration, validation, and compliance as per NABH and ISO standards.
- Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and vendors for parts replacement and service support.
- Maintain equipment inventory, service records, and documentation.
- Plan and oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure uptime of critical medical devices.
- Provide technical training and operational guidance to hospital staff.
