- Site Preparation & Surveying: Conduct preliminary site investigations, undertake surveying, and map out the site. [1, 2]
- Project Monitoring: Track construction progress against project timelines, manage budgets, and promptly resolve technical difficulties on-site. [1, 2, 3]
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Perform quality checks on raw materials and structures, and enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations. [1, 2, 3]
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the liaison between the Site Management Team, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. [1, 2]
Essential Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using surveying instruments (e.g., theodolites, total stations) and interpreting CAD drawings.
- Project Management: Capability in evaluating task allocation, managing material requisitions, and tracking operating costs.
- Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills to direct on-site crews and collaborate with diverse teams.
