About the Role
Treamis International School is seeking a passionate and qualified Computer Science Mentor to teach students under the Cambridge Curriculum. The ideal candidate should be committed to delivering engaging lessons, fostering critical thinking, and helping students develop strong computational and programming skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Computer Science lessons in accordance with the Cambridge Curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and learning resources.
- Teach programming, computational thinking, digital literacy, and related topics as per the curriculum requirements.
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records and reports.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development activities.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students in projects, competitions, and practical learning activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- B.Ed. qualification preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in Computer Science.
- Experience teaching the Cambridge Curriculum (Checkpoint, IGCSE, or AS & A Level) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning.
- Passion for working with students and promoting academic excellence.
