Business Responsibilities

Global Category Buyer for Casting, Stamping, and Metal Sub-Assembly commodities, driving category performance across cost, quality, delivery, and innovation dimensions.

Develop and implement global commodity and supplier strategies aligned with business objectives, market dynamics, and regional requirements.

Lead supplier scouting, evaluation, selection, and sourcing decisions, ensuring a competitive and resilient supplier base.

Drive localization and supplier development initiatives to enhance supply chain robustness, cost competitiveness, and regional value creation.

Conduct comprehensive market intelligence, benchmarking, and should-cost analysis to identify cost optimization opportunities and industry best practices.

Lead commercial negotiations, including annual price negotiations, productivity improvements, cost reduction programs, and long-term framework agreements.

Establish strategic partnerships with key suppliers and foster continuous improvement through innovation, digitalization, and process excellence initiatives.

Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Project Purchasing teams to support business growth and profitability targets.
Delivery Responsibilities

Collaborate with Project Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, and Logistics teams for demand forecasting, capacity alignment, and launch readiness.

Drive proactive risk management activities, including contingency planning and supplier risk assessments.

Support new product launches and localization projects by ensuring supplier preparedness and timely delivery execution.

Monitor and improve overall supplier performance through KPI tracking, escalation management, and corrective action implementation.
Managerial & Governance Responsibilities

Single point of contact (SPOC) for all commercial and strategic matters related to assigned suppliers and commodity portfolio.

Establish and lead regular supplier performance reviews covering commercial results, quality performance, delivery reliability, innovation contribution, and sustainability targets.

Monitor and analyze key purchasing KPIs, including negotiation results, supplier performance metrics, productivity measures, and risk indicators.

Drive supplier relationship management (SRM) activities and ensure alignment with Bosch purchasing governance and compliance requirements.

Provide management reporting, business analytics, and strategic recommendations to support decision-making processes.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into effective supplier and material field strategies.

Ensure adherence to Bosch purchasing processes, compliance standards, and sustainability requirements throughout the supplier lifecycle.

Mentor and support cross-functional teams by sharing market insights, sourcing expertise, and best practices.
Qualifications
Engineering (B.E. / B-Tech in Mechanical / Industrial), or MBA
