System Administrator
Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and responsible System Administrator to manage, maintain, and support the organization's IT infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for servers, networks, user accounts, system security, backups, hardware, software, and overall IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
- Manage Active Directory, user accounts, groups, permissions, and access policies.
- Configure and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and domain-related issues.
- Monitor server performance, system health, storage, and network connectivity.
- Manage system backups and perform data restoration when required.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and business applications.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and server-related issues.
- Manage antivirus, endpoint security, patches, and system updates.
- Configure and maintain file servers, shared folders, and access permissions.
- Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, and other cloud-based services.
- Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers when required.
- Ensure IT systems follow security policies and best practices.
- Provide L1, L2, and basic L3 technical support depending on experience and requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, LAN, WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery processes.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and cloud services.
- Understanding of IT security, antivirus, endpoint protection, and patch management.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple IT-related tasks.
Qualifications
- Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent certification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA/MCSE, Azure, AWS, or Linux certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience
1–5 years of experience in System Administration, Server Administration, Network Administration, or a related IT infrastructure role.
Preferred Candidate
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructure, troubleshooting servers and networks, handling user access, maintaining system security, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
