How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) having experience in IT infrastructure - multi-cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, cloud governance, cost and resource optimization, DevOps pipelines etc. This role will be based out of Goa or Hyderabad.
You will Make an Impact by:
- Designing and deploying high-availability systems across both Microsoft Azure and AWS environments.
- Standardizing deployment processes using cloud-agnostic tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Standardizing and enforcing security, identity, and access policies across different cloud frameworks.
- Analyzing and optimizing multi-cloud spending using tools like Azure Cost Management and AWS Cost Explorer.
- Building unified CI/CD pipelines that deploy workloads seamlessly to either cloud platform.
- Governing enterprise identities using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), managing Conditional Access policies, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and multi-cloud identity federation.
- Provisioning, patching, and maintaining Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Machine Scale Sets (VMSS), and managing tiering, backup, and replication within Azure Storage Accounts.
- Designing and testing business continuity strategies using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery (ASR) to meet strict RPO and RTO objectives.
- Authoring and enforcing Azure Policies and Resource Locks to prevent configuration drift, ensure corporate compliance, and optimize multi-cloud resource tagging.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure connections between on-premises data centers, AWS environments, and Azure using ExpressRoute, Site-to-Site VPNs, and AWS Direct Connect.
- Building and managing complex network topologies utilizing Azure Virtual WAN, Hub-and-Spoke architectures, and VNet peering.
- Configuring and optimizing Azure Application Gateways, Load Balancers, Traffic Managers, and Azure Front Door for high availability.
- Implementing and monitoring Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Application Security Groups (ASGs), and User Defined Routes (UDRs) to restrict and secure network traffic.
- Managing Azure Private DNS zones, public DNS, and complex IP addressing schemes across multi-cloud environments.
- Designing and optimizing Azure Log Analytics Workspaces and Azure Monitor Logs, ensuring cost-effective data ingestion and retention policies.
- Deploying and managing Azure Monitor Agents (AMA) across Virtual Machines, Scale Sets, and hybrid servers via Azure Arc.
- Writing complex Kusto Query Language (KQL) queries to parse logs, troubleshooting outages, and build custom workbooks.
- Creating metric and log-based alert rules, utilizing Action Groups to trigger automated remediation via Azure Automation Runbooks, Logic Apps, or Webhooks.
- Utilizing Azure Network Watcher and Connection Monitor to track network latency, packet loss, and security group blocking.
- Configuring diagnostic settings to stream security and audit logs to Microsoft Sentinel or external event hubs.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering with at least 3 years in Azure.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) security services.
- Deep understanding of IAM, federated identity, directory synchronization, and identity governance.
- Experience in securing, APIs, and network control systems in a cloud environment.
