We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary architectural practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing safe, efficient, and economical structural designs for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects while working closely with our in-house architectural team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyse RCC, steel, masonry, and composite structural systems in accordance with relevant Indian Standards (IS Codes), NBC, and other applicable regulations.
- Prepare structural design calculations, structural GA drawings, reinforcement detailing, foundation drawings, and construction documentation.
- Coordinate closely with architects to integrate structural systems with architectural intent and optimize design solutions.
- Develop structural models using industry-standard software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, SAP2000, or similar analysis tools.
- Prepare and review detailed structural drawings in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Coordinate with MEP consultants, geotechnical engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the design and construction phases.
- Review shop drawings, bar bending schedules, and fabrication drawings for technical accuracy.
- Conduct site visits to monitor structural works, resolve construction-related issues, and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Evaluate structural modifications, value engineering proposals, and alternative construction methods where appropriate.
- Assist in material selection, structural specifications, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, project timelines, statutory requirements, and client expectations.
- Maintain proper documentation of structural calculations, drawings, revisions, and project records.
- Strong knowledge of RCC and structural steel design, seismic design principles, and Indian Standards.
- Proficiency in ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. Experience with Revit Structure/BIM will be an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within a multidisciplinary design environment.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
