Job Description - SEO Specialist

About the Role
We are looking for an SEO Specialist who can drive sustainable organic growth through strategic content planning, technical SEO, and AI search optimization. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing SEO initiatives across multiple digital products while collaborating closely with content, marketing, and development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase organic visibility and qualified traffic.
- Perform keyword and topic research for both Indian and international audiences.
- Create content roadmaps, SEO briefs, and publishing schedules.
- Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, and site structure.
- Monitor content performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and coordinate fixes with developers.
- Improve visibility across AI-powered search platforms and answer engines.
- Build high-quality backlinks through outreach, partnerships, and digital PR initiatives.
- Track rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and search performance using analytics tools.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO, AI search, and content marketing trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on SEO experience.
- Experience working with SaaS, digital products, or technology-focused websites.
- Strong understanding of content-driven SEO strategies.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Ahrefs and SEMrush.
- Knowledge of technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and crawl optimization.
- Experience with WordPress and Shopify platforms.
- Familiarity with AI search ecosystems and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
- Working knowledge of GA4 and Google Search Console.
- Excellent written English and content review skills.
- Understanding of E-E-A-T and modern search quality guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with digital PR and outreach campaigns.
- Exposure to AI visibility and monitoring platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO strategies for both Indian and US markets.
