As an Email Copywriter at RapidX, you will craft high-converting, strategy-led email copy across flows and campaigns for global eCommerce brands.
You won’t just “write emails.”
You’ll build structured messaging systems — from Welcome and Abandoned Cart flows to retention, winback, and promotional campaigns — that directly drive revenue.
You will collaborate closely with Account Managers, Designers, and Developers to ensure copy aligns with brand voice, conversion goals, and performance metrics.
Beyond execution, you’ll help refine our messaging frameworks, test angles, and contribute to raising the creative and strategic standard across the team.
What Will You Do?
Email Strategy & Copywriting
- Write conversion-focused emails across lifecycle flows and campaigns
- Craft compelling subject lines, preheaders, CTAs, and body copy
- Align messaging with customer psychology and funnel stage
- Adapt tone of voice across multiple brands and industries
- Optimize messaging based on performance insights
Performance & Optimization
- A/B test subject lines, hooks, offers, and positioning
- Analyze open rate, CTR, and conversion data to refine messaging
- Improve clarity, persuasion, and structural flow of emails
- Identify opportunities for stronger value communication
Systems & Documentation
- Build and refine reusable copy frameworks
- Maintain swipe files and high-performing templates
- Document brand tone guidelines and messaging structures
- Ensure copy aligns seamlessly with design and layout execution
Collaboration & Contribution
- Work cross-functionally with Designers and Developers
- Participate in campaign planning and strategic discussions
- Provide feedback during creative reviews
- Contribute ideas that improve messaging systems at scale
Must Have
- 2+ years of experience in email marketing or direct-response copywriting
- Strong understanding of conversion psychology
- Experience writing lifecycle flows (Welcome, Cart, Post-Purchase, etc.)
- Ability to write for multiple brands and industries
- Strong attention to structure, clarity, and persuasive flow
- Ability to handle high-volume output without compromising quality
Good to Have
- Experience with Klaviyo or similar ESPs
- Exposure to eCommerce brands and revenue metrics
- Understanding of segmentation and lifecycle marketing
- Experience collaborating with designers on mobile-first layouts
- Familiarity with AI-assisted copy tools and workflow systems
