We are looking for a responsible and experienced Store Incharge to manage day-to-day store operations at our construction project site in Dona Paula, Goa. The candidate will be responsible for inventory management, material handling, inward/outward entries, stock monitoring, and coordination with site and purchase teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain proper records of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Handle material inward and outward entries systematically.
- Monitor stock availability and inform Management/Purchase Department regarding shortages.
- Verify received materials with purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans.
- Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, gate passes, and inventory records.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Vendors, Contractors, and Purchase Department.
- Ensure proper storage, safety, and tracking of materials at site/store.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and maintain daily stock reports.
- Prevent material wastage, pilferage, and unauthorized movement of stock.
- Ensure housekeeping, discipline, and smooth functioning of the store area.
- Support smooth site execution by ensuring timely material availability.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of construction materials and store management.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP/software preferred).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory and documentation.
- Understanding of residential and commercial project requirements.
- Strong organizational and material handling skills.
Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of experience as Store Incharge in residential and commercial construction projects.
- Experience in handling site stores independently will be preferred.
Pay: ₹12,070.77 - ₹21,677.05 per month
