Reporting To
Senior Manager – HR & Administration / Head – HR
1. Job Purpose
To support the Head of HR in managing end-to-end Human Resource functions, statutory compliance, employee engagement, recruitment, training, performance management, and HR operations while ensuring compliance with the Factories Act, labour laws, and company policies. The role is responsible for maintaining a disciplined, productive, and employee-friendly work environment in the manufacturing plant. This reflects common responsibilities for Assistant Manager HR roles in manufacturing organizations.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for staff and workmen.
- Coordinate interviews with department heads.
- Maintain recruitment MIS and manpower planning.
- Manage onboarding, induction, and probation confirmation.
- Build talent pipeline through job portals, referrals, consultants, and campus hiring.
B. HR Operations
- Maintain employee master records and HRIS.
- Verify attendance, leave, overtime, and shift records.
- Coordinate payroll inputs with the Accounts department.
- Issue appointment, confirmation, increment, promotion, transfer, warning, and separation letters.
- Manage exit interviews and Full & Final Settlement coordination.
C. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:

- POSH
- Standing Orders
- Maintain statutory registers and labour documentation.
- Support statutory audits and customer audits.
D. Employee Relations & Industrial Relations
- Handle employee grievances and counselling.
- Support disciplinary actions and domestic enquiries.
- Promote harmonious employee relations.
- Coordinate welfare activities and communication meetings.
- Ensure compliance with company Code of Conduct.
E. Performance Management
- Coordinate KPI/KRA implementation.
- Monitor probation reviews.
- Support annual appraisal and promotion processes.
- Track employee competency development.
F. Learning & Development
- Conduct induction programs.
- Prepare annual training calendar.
- Coordinate technical and behavioural training.
- Maintain training records and effectiveness evaluations.
- Support TILUO competency development and CLIT implementation.
G. Employee Engagement
- Organize monthly and annual engagement activities.
- Manage birthday celebrations, recognition programs, and PROTEC SHAKTI awards.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys.
- Promote company culture and values.
H. HR MIS & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HR reports.

- Training hours
- Leave analysis
- Present HR dashboards to management.
I. Policy Implementation
- Ensure implementation of HR policies.
- Conduct awareness sessions.
- Monitor policy compliance across departments.
- Update SOPs and HR documentation whenever required.

4. Qualification
- MBA / MSW / PGDM in Human Resource Management / BBA in HR
- Additional qualification in Labour Laws will be an advantage.
5. Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in HR within a manufacturing industry.
- Experience in Automotive / Engineering / Bearing / Auto Components preferred.
