Job Summary
JEWF is seeking a skilled and reliable Residential Electrician to join our team in Sonarpur. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures within residential properties. Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, switchboards, lighting fixtures, and power distribution systems in residential settings.
- Diagnose electrical faults, troubleshoot issues, and execute prompt, safe repairs.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance of electrical systems to ensure long-term functionality.
- Inspect circuit breakers, transformers, and other fundamental electrical components.
- Ensure strict adherence to all electrical safety standards and local compliance codes.
- Respond efficiently to electrical maintenance requests and emergencies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: ITI Certificate in Electrical Trade, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical training.
- Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on experience in residential electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Skills:
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret basic electrical drawings or diagrams.
- Licensing: A valid Electrical Workman's Permit (EWP) issued by the West Bengal Licensing Board is highly preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Pay: ₹12,000 - ₹15,000 per month (commensurate with experience).
- Schedule: Standard Day Shift (flexibility for urgent residential maintenance requests is appreciated).
