Position Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber, results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with a proven track record of driving aggressive growth. In this senior role, you will lead our market expansion by establishing robust lead-generation pipelines and directly converting opportunities into high-margin revenue. The ideal candidate brings an extensive corporate network, master-level negotiation skills, and a relentless focus on hitting bottom-line financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
- High-Impact Revenue Generation: Take full ownership of the sales funnel to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for corporate travel, luxury leisure segments, and MICE.
- Strategic Lead Generation: Design and execute multi-channel lead generation strategies to actively prospect, qualify, and secure high-value B2B and corporate accounts.
- Corporate Account Acquisition: Network directly with senior stakeholders, corporate HR heads, procurement leaders, and administration directors to position Zauntrip as their preferred travel partner.
- Strategic Partnerships: Establish and nurture long-term alliances with key travel agents, international vendor networks, and trade organizations to maximize market penetration.
- Proposal & Contract Negotiation: Architect custom, high-value travel proposals and pitch presentations, confidently negotiating terms, pricing, and SLAs to close complex, high-revenue contracts.
- Market Intelligence & Trend Analysis: Analyze market shifts, competitor strategies, and emerging luxury travel demands to keep Zauntrip’s offerings ahead of the market.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with internal operations, marketing, and technology teams to ensure flawless execution of travel solutions and maximize client retention.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 8+ years of core business development and sales experience, with a documented history of success specifically within the corporate travel, hospitality, or MICE industries.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to independently build a high-volume pipeline and consistently hit multi-million INR revenue targets.
- Industry Network: Possess a deep, active rolodex of pre-existing corporate client relationships and corporate decision-makers in the region.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Travel & Tourism, or a related discipline. An MBA is highly preferred.
