Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Busbar Fitter to join our production team. You will be responsible for the final assembly, alignment, and installation of copper and aluminium busbars into electrical control panels and switchgear. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in electrical panel manufacturing and the ability to work with precision.
Requirements:
- Education: ITI (Fitter / Electrician) or a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in busbar fitting or electrical panel assembly.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools (torque wrenches, drills, files) and measuring instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly & Installation: Install and assemble fabricated busbars and related components into electrical panels with proper alignment and fit.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Accurately read and interpret technical engineering drawings, SLDs (Single Line Diagrams), and assembly instructions.
- Joint Connections: Securely connect busbars to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components using bolts and clamps, ensuring correct torque and low resistance.
- Insulation: Apply insulation materials such as heat-shrink sleeves or bus boots as per safety standards.
