The brands also have an active presence on major e-commerce platforms — Myntra, Amazon, Nykaa, and Flipkart.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Merchandiser to manage store allocation, distribution planning, and sell-through performance across our Shop-in-Shop network. This role sits at the intersection of merchandising, retail operations, and data-driven decision-making, and requires someone who can work closely with store, sales, and planning teams to optimize inventory across a large, multi-brand, multi-format retail footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute store-wise stock allocation and distribution across 202+ Shop-in-Shop doors, ensuring the right product mix reaches the right stores
- Monitor and analyze sell-through rates by store, brand, category, and region; recommend replenishment and redistribution actions
- Track fast- and slow-moving SKUs and drive corrective actions (markdowns, transfers, reallocation) to improve inventory efficiency
- Build and maintain Excel-based reports and dashboards to track allocation, stock health, and sell-through metrics across stores
- Coordinate with store/retail partner teams (Lifestyle, Shoppers Stop, Naidu Hall, Kapsons, Baby Shop) on stock requirements and replenishment cycles
- Work with the buying/planning team to translate sales trends into future allocation and assortment plans
- Support marketplace teams (Myntra, Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart) with inventory visibility and allocation inputs as needed
- Identify underperforming doors/categories and propose corrective merchandising strategies
Candidate Requirements
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in merchandising, retail planning, or allocation — freshers will not be considered
- Prior experience in fashion accessories or impulse categories (e.g., socks, innerwear, similar high-turnover categories) strongly preferred
- Experience working within a Shop-in-Shop / department store retail model is a strong plus
- Demonstrated experience in store allocation, distribution planning, and improving sell-through
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis); comfort working with large, multi-store datasets
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate sales data into actionable merchandising decisions
- Good coordination and communication skills to work across internal teams and retail partners
