We are looking for a skilled Junior PCB CAD Engineer with experience in Zuken CADSTAR to design and develop high-quality PCB layouts for various electronic products. The candidate will be responsible for PCB design activities, library management, manufacturing documentation, and coordination with engineering and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop multilayer PCB layouts using Zuken CADSTAR.
- Perform component placement, routing, and design optimization.
- Create and maintain schematic symbols and PCB footprint libraries.
- Generate Gerber files, ODB++, fabrication drawings, and assembly documentation.
- Ensure compliance with DFM, DFA, IPC, and customer requirements.
- Work closely with hardware engineers, manufacturing teams, and customers to resolve design issues.
- Conduct design reviews and implement engineering change requests (ECRs/ECOs).
- Support prototype builds, testing, and production activities.
- Maintain proper revision control and design documentation.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Zuken CADSTAR PCB design software.
- Knowledge of multilayer PCB design and high-speed routing techniques.
- Understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Familiarity with DFM, DFA, and IPC standards.
- Experience in creating and managing PCB libraries.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical drawings.
- Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Educational Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in PCB manufacturing or EMS industries.
- Knowledge of other ECAD tools such as Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, or OrCAD is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with RF, power electronics, or high-speed digital PCB designs.
