Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and target-driven Sales Executive to join our Ahmedabad team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, meeting prospective clients, conducting site visits, understanding customer requirements, and promoting rooftop solar solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to achieve assigned sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identify and generate new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, digital inquiries, references, and field visits.
- Meet residential, commercial, and industrial customers to understand their energy requirements.
- Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and gather technical information.
- Prepare and present customized solar proposals, quotations, and cost-benefit analyses.
- Explain government subsidy schemes, net metering, financing options, and return on investment to customers.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Coordinate with the design, project execution, and operations teams for smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reports, customer interactions, and follow-up schedules.
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
- Represent Solarative Energy Solutions at exhibitions, corporate events, seminars, and networking programs.
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and government policies related to solar energy.

Required Qualifications
- MBA (Preferred) in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Electrical Engineering (Preferred), or a related field
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the solar, renewable energy, electrical, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop business opportunities.
Required Skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of solar PV systems and basic electrical concepts.
- Ability to prepare and explain technical and commercial proposals.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated with a target-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel across Ahmedabad and nearby regions for client meetings and site visits.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in rooftop solar sales or EPC projects.
- Knowledge of Gujarat DISCOM regulations, net metering, and government subsidy schemes.
- Familiarity with the Ahmedabad and Gujarat solar market.
- Understanding of project coordination and execution processes.
