Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible System & IT Administrator to manage the organization's IT infrastructure, network systems, security, CCTV systems, and data backup operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, reliability, and smooth functioning of IT systems and infrastructure across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Network Infrastructure Management
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN and network infrastructure.
- Configure and monitor routers, switches, access points, and other network devices.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance-related issues.
- Monitor network availability and ensure uninterrupted IT operations.
- Maintain proper documentation of network infrastructure and configurations.
2. System Administration
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers, and other IT systems.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system configurations.
- Monitor system performance and resolve hardware/software-related issues.
- Ensure operating systems and applications are updated and properly maintained.
3. CCTV & Surveillance Systems
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV systems.
- Monitor CCTV recording systems, cameras, NVR/DVR, and related equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors for installation, maintenance, and technical support when required.
- Ensure CCTV systems are operational and recordings are properly maintained.
4. IT Security
- Implement and maintain appropriate system and network security measures.
- Monitor systems for potential security threats and unauthorized access.
- Manage antivirus/endpoint security and ensure security updates and patches are applied.
- Control user access and permissions based on organizational requirements.
- Support implementation of IT security policies and procedures.
5. Data Backup & Recovery
- Implement and monitor regular data backup procedures.
- Ensure critical business data is backed up securely and regularly.
- Periodically verify backup integrity and availability.
- Support data recovery and restoration activities when required.
- Maintain proper backup records and documentation.
6. IT Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, network, email, and system-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve IT incidents within the required timelines.
- Maintain records of IT assets, systems, licenses, and equipment.
- Coordinate with external IT service providers and vendors whenever required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in System Administration / IT Infrastructure / Network Administration.
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and system administration.
- Hands-on knowledge of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi networks.
- Experience in CCTV installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of data backup, restoration, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Understanding of IT security, antivirus, firewall, user access, and system protection.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to IT issues.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of Windows Server/Linux Server administration.
- Experience with firewalls, VPN, VLAN, and network monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of NVR/DVR and IP-based CCTV systems.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft, CompTIA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
