Job SummaryThe Service Engineer installs, maintains, and repairs industrial washing, degreasing, and cleaning machinery at client sites. This role requires strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills and a commitment to minimizing customer downtime. Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Commissioning
- Assemble and install industrial cleaning machinery, conveyor systems, and high-pressure pumps at client facilities.
- Conduct test runs to verify machine parameters, flow rates, and temperature controls meet engineering specifications.
- Train client operators on safe machine handling, daily maintenance protocols, and control panel operations.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) according to scheduled service contracts to optimize machine lifespan.
- Diagnose electrical faults in PLCs, HMIs, sensors, relays, and industrial control panels.
- Fix mechanical issues related to pneumatic valves, hydraulic systems, spray nozzles, and filtration units.
- Respond to emergencies to troubleshoot and repair critical breakdowns under tight deadlines.
Documentation & Reporting
- Log service reports accurately detailing work performed, parts replaced, and time spent via the company CRM/ERP.
- Manage spare parts inventory in the service vehicle and initiate orders for required components.
- Feedback technical issues to the design and manufacturing teams to drive continuous product improvement.
Required Skills & QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on field service experience with industrial machinery (experience with industrial washers, ultrasonic cleaners, or fluid handling systems is highly preferred).
Technical Competencies
- Read engineering drawings including electrical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and mechanical blueprints.
- Troubleshoot PLC automation systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Delta) and industrial automation networks.
- Understand fluid dynamics including high-pressure pumps, chemical dosing systems, and water filtration.
Soft Skills & Physical Demands
- Travel extensively to customer sites, often on short notice (up to 70% travel required).
- Communicate clearly with clients to explain technical issues and justify repair requirements.
- Lift heavy parts and work comfortably in industrial factory environments.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹33,722.65 per month
