About Position:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer / Snowflake Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale cloud-native data solutions on the Snowflake platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Snowflake, real-time data integration, data engineering, cloud platforms, and financial data processing.

What You'll Do:

The design, development, and implementation of scalable cloud-native data pipelines on Snowflake.

Build high-performance, reliable, and resilient data processing solutions supporting enterprise-wide analytics and reporting.

Develop and optimize complex SQL transformations and business-centric data models.

Design and implement modern ELT frameworks and automated data ingestion pipelines.

Support large-scale banking and financial data processing initiatives.

Design and implement real-time Change Data Capture (CDC) solutions.

Utilize Snowflake Openflow to replicate and synchronize data from Aurora MySQL with minimal latency.
-
Develop resilient and scalable data replication architectures.
-
Ensure high availability and reliability of real-time data pipelines.

Monitor and optimize data movement and ingestion performance.
-
Develop Snowpark Python stored procedures and data services.
-
Design integrations with enterprise REST APIs and external applications.

Build scalable processing frameworks for high-volume datasets.

Support advanced data transformation and business logic implementation.

Optimize data processing workloads for performance and cost efficiency.

Implement and manage Snowflake Tasks, Streams, and orchestration workflows.

Automate data ingestion from AWS S3 and cloud-based data sources.

Replace and modernize legacy ETL scheduling frameworks using Snowflake-native capabilities.

Design automated monitoring, alerting, and operational support processes.

Improve reliability through workflow standardization and automation.

Build audit frameworks and historical tracking capabilities.

Implement schema evolution and metadata management processes.

Design governance solutions supporting traceability, compliance, and operational resilience.

Manage secure credential storage using Snowflake Secrets.

Implement role-based access controls, data security policies, and encryption standards.

Ensure compliance with enterprise governance and regulatory requirements.

Provide technical leadership across Snowflake platform initiatives.

Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and solution assessments.
-
Mentor data engineers and support best-practice adoption.

Troubleshoot complex production issues and performance bottlenecks.
-
Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and Snowflake platform modernization.

Partner with stakeholders to define scalable data platform roadmaps.
Expertise You'll Bring:

8-12 years of experience in Data Engineering and Cloud Data Platforms.

Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, development, and administration.
-
Experience designing enterprise-scale data pipelines and ELT frameworks.
-
Advanced SQL development and query optimization expertise.
-
Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts.

Experience handling large-scale financial and transactional datasets.
-
Experience implementing CDC (Change Data Capture) solutions.
-
Hands-on expertise with Snowflake Openflow or similar real-time integration technologies.

Experience integrating Aurora MySQL and other relational databases.

Knowledge of streaming and event-driven data architectures.

Understanding of low-latency data ingestion patterns.

Strong experience with Snowpark Python.

Development of stored procedures, UDFs, and advanced transformation logic.

Experience integrating Snowflake with enterprise REST APIs.

Strong Python programming skills.

Experience building data services and reusable processing frameworks.

AWS cloud experience, including Amazon S3, Aurora MySQL, Cloud-native Data Services.

Experience with REST API integration patterns.

Knowledge of enterprise integration and distributed systems architecture.

Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
