As the Creative Head – Reels, Video & Shoots, you will be responsible for end-to-end video creation, including planning and executing shoots, leading creative direction, editing excellence, and platform optimization.
You will play a key leadership role in shaping the brand’s visual language, video identity, and content direction, ensuring every video looks premium, intentional, and scroll-stopping.
Key Responsibilities
Ideation & Creative Direction
● Lead conceptualization and ideation for Reels, short-form videos, ads, and long-form content
● Translate brand goals, scripts, and ideas into high-impact visual stories
● Define creative styles, formats, hooks, and storytelling frameworks
● Maintain a consistent, premium visual identity across all platforms
Shoot Planning & Execution
● Plan, direct, and execute video shoots (studio & on-location)
● Strong understanding of camera framing, lighting, composition, and shot flow
● Guide on-screen talent (kids, parents, educators) for natural, authentic performances
● Ensure shoot outputs are aligned with final edit vision and platform requirements
● Manage shoot checklists, angles, b-roll, and content efficiency for Reels & ads
Video Creation & Editing (End-to-End)
● Create and edit high-quality Reels, ads, and videos with a premium, scroll-stopping aesthetic
● Handle the complete workflow: raw footage → rough cut → final edit → platform-ready output
● Ensure strong pacing, transitions, sound design, captions, and visual consistency
● Maintain high-quality benchmarks for all video outputs
Software, Camera & Technical Expertise
● Hands-on expertise with tools such as:
○ Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve
● Strong working knowledge of:
○ DSLR / Mirrorless cameras (Sony, Canon, etc.)
○ Lenses, frame rates, lighting setups, audio basics
● Ability to troubleshoot shoot and post-production challenges independently
AI & Advanced Tools
● Leverage AI-powered tools such as Runway, Descript, Adobe Firefly, or similar
● Use AI for:
○ Faster editing workflows
○ Visual enhancements & effects
○ Scripting support & automation
● Continuously experiment with AI to improve speed, creativity, and output quality
Platform Optimization & Trends
● Optimize content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging platforms
● Stay ahead of social media trends, formats, hooks, and algorithms
● Analyze performance and continuously refine content for better reach and engagement
Collaboration & Leadership
● Collaborate closely with marketing, content, and performance teams
● Guide junior editors or freelancers (if required)
● Maintain creative quality benchmarks while ensuring timely delivery
● Take ownership of outcomes — creative, technical, and performance-based
Requirements
● 3+ years of experience in video editing, content creation, and shoot execution
● Strong portfolio of Reels, ads, and performance-driven video content
● Proven experience handling video shoots end-to-end
● Expertise in AI-based video editing workflows
● Deep understanding of social media content trends
● Strong storytelling skills and visual aesthetics
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, execution-heavy environment
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
