Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6–10+ years of hands-on ABAP development 3–5+ years in SAP CRM with WebUI/BOL/GENIL.
- Demonstrated track record of leading technical delivery in medium-to-large SAP programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Required Technical Skills
Primary: ABAP (Expert)
ABAP OO and design patterns
- Strong in object-oriented design, SOLID principles, factory and abstract factory patterns, dependency injection, and interface-based design.
- Practical experience with global classes, interfaces, events, exception handling, and test seams in ABAP.
CDS views and data modeling
- Creation of basic to complex CDS views (associations, path expressions), annotations for UI/analytical use cases, authorization checks (DCL), and performance tuning.
- Understanding of view types (interface/consumption), table functions, and CDS-based extraction patterns.
Reporting and classic development
- Classical and ALV reporting, spool/output management, background jobs, and list processing robust selection screens and usability patterns.
DDIC and database
- Data dictionary modeling (normalized design, foreign keys, search helps), buffering strategies, indexing, and performance-aware SQL.
- Lock objects and concurrency handling transaction handling and consistency safeguards.
Integration and services
- PI/PO proxy interfaces and AIF
Quality and operations
- ABAP Unit, ATC, code inspector, dumps analysis (ST22), performance (ST05, SAT), and transport management (CTS).
Secondary: SAP CRM (Strong)
WebUI
- Component workbench, views, controllers, enhancement sets, UI configuration, personalization, and role-based UI tailoring.
BOL/GENIL
- BO modeling, queries (static/dynamic), collections, relations, buffering implementing/overriding business object methods and validation layers.
- Performance tuning for BOL queries, delta handling, and pagination strategies.
CRM middleware
- Data exchange, adapters, filters, mapping, monitoring (SMW01), and troubleshooting replication issues.
Enhancements and extensions
- BAdIs, enhancement frameworks, action profiles, partner determination, status and action management, and pricing integration touchpoints.
