Cricket Coach

Position Overview
Pallavi International School – Sagar Road Campus is looking for an energetic, skilled, and passionate Cricket Coach to train and mentor students across different age groups. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing students' cricketing skills, promoting sportsmanship, and fostering physical fitness while preparing school teams for inter-school tournaments and competitions.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and conduct cricket coaching sessions for students across various age groups.
* Teach and develop fundamental and advanced cricket skills, including batting, bowling, fielding, wicketkeeping, and game strategies.
* Identify and nurture talented players for school teams and competitive events.
* Prepare students for inter-school, district, state, and national-level cricket tournaments.
* Organize practice matches, fitness drills, and skill development programs.
* Develop age-appropriate training plans focusing on technical, tactical, and physical development.
* Ensure student safety by following proper coaching techniques and maintaining sports equipment.
* Promote discipline, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship among students.
* Monitor students' progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents, where required.
* Maintain cricket equipment, practice facilities, and inventory.
* Assist in organizing sports events, annual sports day, and other school athletic activities.
* Collaborate with the Sports Department to support the overall physical education program.
* Follow all school policies, child safeguarding guidelines, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed.) or Graduation in any discipline.
* Certification in Cricket Coaching from a recognized cricket association (preferred).
* Strong knowledge of cricket coaching techniques, rules, and player development.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience
* **1–3 years of experience** as a Cricket Coach in a school, academy, or sports organization is preferred.

* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Good communication and organizational abilities.
* Knowledge of fitness training and injury prevention.
