Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical designs and drawings for rooftop and Open Access solar projects while supporting project execution and documentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a career in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D & 3D layouts, structural drawings, and electrical SLDs using AutoCAD.
- Develop technical drawings for rooftop and Open Access solar projects.
- Support system sizing, shadow analysis, and energy yield calculations.
- Assist in preparing techno-commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with project engineers for site-specific design requirements.
- Support project execution, BOM preparation, and documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors and consultants during design finalization.
- Maintain accurate design records and drawing revisions.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 0–2 years of experience in electrical or solar design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Candidates with only AutoCAD 2D knowledge should be willing to learn AutoCAD 3D.
Required Skills
- Strong technical drawing and detailing skills.
- Understanding of electrical layouts and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Fluency in English and Hindi. Marathi will be an added advantage.
