Job Summary
The General Manager – Sales & Marketing is responsible for developing and executing the company's sales and marketing strategy to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, strengthen brand visibility, and achieve business objectives. The role oversees retail sales, wholesale distribution, institutional sales, modern trade, channel partners, franchise development, and marketing initiatives while ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop annual and long-term sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities across domestic and institutional markets.
- Drive sales growth across retail outlets, distributors, wholesalers, and franchise networks.
- Expand market reach through new territories and strategic partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Marketing & Brand Management
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strengthen brand positioning across digital and traditional platforms.
- Plan promotional activities, seasonal campaigns, and festive offers.
- Coordinate product launches and market introductions.
- Ensure consistent brand identity across all customer touchpoints.
Distribution & Channel Management
- Build and strengthen distributor and dealer networks.
- Manage modern trade, supermarkets, HORECA, and institutional business.
- Ensure effective product availability and market coverage.
- Improve distributor productivity and channel profitability.
Retail Sales Management
- Monitor performance of company-owned outlets.
- Drive outlet-wise sales targets and profitability.
- Coordinate with operations teams for inventory planning and product availability.
- Improve customer experience and retail sales conversion.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor sales, marketing, and business development teams.
- Set KPIs and performance targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.

Customer Relationship Management
- Develop strong relationships with key customers and corporate clients.
