Job Title: Quality Analyst (Manual + Automation)

Job Overview:
Hands-on QA role focused on finance and banking applications. Own end-to-end testing independently using manual and automation approaches. Strong domain expertise required in fintech workflows.
Core Responsibilities:
- Execute complete end-to-end testing cycles solo: requirements analysis, test case design, execution, defect logging, and closure.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright (primary) and Selenium (WebDriver).
- Perform API testing for RESTful services, including validation of payloads, responses, and error handling.
- Conduct security testing: authentication flows, session management, input validation, and basic vulnerability scans.
- Validate multi-device compatibility across desktops, mobiles, tablets (iOS/Android), and browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
- Create detailed test plans, RTM (Requirements Traceability Matrix), and execution reports.
- Collaborate in daily agile stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Perform exploratory testing, usability checks, and performance validation under load.
- Ensure 100% test coverage for critical finance/banking paths like transactions and compliance.
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- 1.5-3 years QA experience with direct exposure to fintech projects.
- Proven ability to handle full E2E testing independently (from scratch to sign-off).
- Expertise in Playwright for modern web automation; solid Selenium knowledge (JavaScript/Python preferred).
- API testing proficiency (Postman, Newman, REST Assured).
- Multi-device testing experience (emulators, real devices).
- Understanding of security basics: OWASP Top 10, SQL injection, XSS prevention.
- Agile workflow familiarity: user stories, sprint cycles, defect triage.

Preferred Skills:
- Domain knowledge: insurance/loan products, payment gateways, KYC/AML compliance, RBI regulations.
- Scripting: JavaScript, Python for test utilities.
- Tools: JMeter for load testing, Git/Bitbucket for version control.
- Bonus: Prior pen testing experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication for stakeholder reporting.
