Key Responsibilities and Skills:
Qualification Engineering degree in Metallurgy. Total Experience 10-15 years Relevance to I & S Industry Design and Consultancy exposure Must (Iron making, Steel making, secondary metallurgy, Caster, Downstream, any two (2) areas at least) with DPR and Mass/Energy balance ideas. Fixation of plant capacity. Operational Exposure preferred Commissioning Exposure preferred Domain Knowledge · Good understanding of Iron and steel design and engineering covering Process Design Basis, Process Design Criteria, Process Flow Diagram, Heat and Mass balance calculation, Process Control Philosophy, Sequence Interlock Diagram, Group Start & Stop diagram, Process, Sizing of Different Process Equipment, Vendor Documents Review, plant operability and layout reviews · Awareness of latest technological advances. Basic Engineering · Develop flowsheet · Equipment sizing and capacity calculation · Mass Balance · Selection of equipment and process
